Taabinga State School P & C Association runs our wonderful tuckshop aiming to provide quality food options that assist students to make healthy food choices for good nutrition, healthy growth and development, and energy to learn.

Most of our menu is freshly prepared on the day, 'homemade' means we make it in our tuckshop. The ingredients are carefully chosen, with a focus on variety, quality, and freshness. As a result, our food is delicious!

We welcome our parents, carers, grandparents, and community to volunteer in the tuckshop.

Tuckshop is currently Open Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays for First Break.

The Menu

Each term the Tuckshop Menu changes to cater to the season and to diversify offerings to students.

Please refer to the QKR app to see our diverse range of healthy food choice options *(some items are subject to change due to seasons and availability).

New term menus are posted on the School Facebook Page, P&C Facebook Page as well as posted to SeeSaw & Newsletters.

Ordering

• Qkr! Ordering closes at 8am

• Over the Counter Ordering closes at 8.45am

• Orders are through the Qkr! App or over the counter.
• If you are collecting your child early for any reason, the parent is responsible to contact the tuckshop convenor to discuss the order (e.g. Take food home if ready or make an alternative arrangement.)
• If you have pre-ordered your child's lunch and they happen to be away, it is the parent's responsibility to contact the tuckshop convenor to make alternative arrangements.
• Failure to notify the tuckshop convenor on or prior too when the order is made, the order will become null and void. No refunds will be issued.
• Gluten Free options available on request.

How do I order on Qkr! ?

Download the QKR! app by Mastercard and search for Taabinga State School. 

QKR! orders can be placed 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Orders can be made up to two weeks in advance and there is no cost for parent's to use this service.

Breakfast Club

TSS Breakfast Club provides students with a healthy breakfast to ensure they are ready to concentrate and learn.

Breakfast Club operates Tuesday morning & Friday morning from 8.30am – 8.40am

The children are offered a healthy breakfast of Cereal (Weet-Bix, Nutra grain, Corn Flakes) or toast.

Breakfast Club is a wonderful service offered to any child who has missed breakfast at home or is simply feeling hungry before school. This program is open to the whole school. It is also great to see the social interaction that takes place each morning.

TSS Breakfast Club is managed by the school council and requires assistance from volunteers to run of a morning. Donations of breakfast items (cereals, spreads etc) are greatly welcomed and can be dropped off at the office at any time. ​
