Kidz Mob works in partnership with Taabinga State School to provide Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services to the school community. We pride ourselves on providing children with fun, play based learning experiences. From exciting activities, healthy nutritious food, to caring motivated team members; the service meets all your children's needs.
What happens at OSHC?
We provide a range of activities for all ages including arts and crafts, games, sports, drama, board games, dress ups and fun social time with friends.
After School Care
The Preps and Year One's are collected from their classrooms by an Educator at 3pm. When the school bell rings at 3pm children from Years 2-6 walk over to Kidz Mob promptly. Children will be signed in by an Educator, wash their hands and go to the undercover area for afternoon tea. At around 3:25pm we have a group chat, apply sunscreen, put on a hat, and head off to the different areas the children choose for the afternoon. The spaces we utilize are the Hall, Playgrounds, and ovals. On wet weather days we utilize the Hall and undercover areas. Throughout the afternoon children can choose to move between the spaces, as directed by Educators who will communicate via walkie talkies.
Vacation Care
Four weeks prior to the holidays we will announce our Vacation Care Program filled with a plethora of activities, incursions, and excursions. Our ratio for in service care is 1:15 children and reduces to 1:7 or lower on excursions. The program will be released via email, KidzMob Facebook Page, website and Instagram.
Where is the service located?
The OSHC service is located on site at Taabinga State School. All children attending the service must be collected in the afternoon by an authorised person and signed and out of each session.

How to enrol
Kidz Mob utilises a Child Care Software called Xplor for all enrolments, bookings and programming. You will need to complete a separate enrolment form for each child you wish to enrol.
Please ensure you upload your child's birth certificate and immunisation record downloaded from mygov when asked on the form. If your child has any additional needs or medical conditions, please ensure this is entered on the form so we can best support your child in our environment, and the appropriate documentation is uploaded also.
Please note that when enrolling your child, the parent listed as the primary carer must be the parent that is connected to the child for Child Care Subsidy purposes, otherwise when we submit the enrolment to Centrelink, it will not submit correctly and your Child Care Subsidy will not be applied.
